Maybe you’ve occasionally watched motivational videos or read self-help books or taken some courses to hone in on a specific skill but when is it a good idea to hire a coach?
Here are the signs you should at least get a consultation with a coach:
- You aren’t moving forward in your career or business the way you’d like
- You aren’t making as much money as you’d like
- You keep failing and are getting really frustrated and down on yourself about it
- You know you are holding yourself back through procrastination, overthinking, fears, denial, or other excuses but you don’t know how to stop
- You are doing all the ‘right’ things but secretly, you are unhappy
- Your relationships aren’t where you want them to be but you keep avoiding addressing it
We can all pay tons of fees for programs and services but really the major things in life follow the simplest and free logic:
Work: Find out what you love and get good at it, then start charging money for it and help solve others’ problems with your expertise, either for yourself or for a company.
Love: Give your heart to another and treat them as you want to be treated (and better).
Health: Don’t put fake stuff into your body, eat your vegetables, move regularly, sleep enough, and avoid stress.
Legacy: Give back to your community as much as possible and help others.
So why is it so hard??
Because of fear.
Fear of failure, fear of letting others down, fear of making a fool of yourself, etc.
And if we are honest, the biggest fear of all is the fear of hard work. Sadly, many people want quick results and riches without working much for them. We doubt ourselves and fear failure so why even bother?
True success stories have little to do with luck and everything to do with incredible dedication, self-discipline, self-motivation, and sacrifice.
It all starts with getting past your fears.
If we took the energy and money we created through worrying about possible failure or pursuing easy, quick miracle results and channeled it instead into focusing on working for those things, think of the wonderful possibilities!
Here are the main areas a coach can help you with:
Mindset is the key is achieving your best life. If you are holding on to the past, to negative thoughts and especially negative self-images, then you will never reach your full potential and know true happiness. This is the core work of The SASSY Method™.
Our mindset drives our destiny. We become who we think we are and who we tell ourselves we are. Imagine the power of telling yourself you are going to win. It means you could change your entire story.
Are you stuck? Do you jump from one thing to another? Or maybe you’ve been doing one thing for a while but now have lost interest and don’t know what to do next. As your coach, I’ll help get you unstuck. Let’s discuss your values, goals, and possible options. Using techniques like journaling, meditation, and self-awareness exercises, we will map out your feelings and uncover your deep purpose here on Planet Earth.
Are you burnt out? Do you feel like you are spinning your wheels? If you aren’t getting the thing done that you want to, we need to look at the factors that are holding you back. Maybe it is mindset because you don’t truly want to be doing what you are doing. Maybe it is time management and you will be shocked how much time you actually waste on activities you shouldn’t be doing. That’s what a coach is there for! Let’s strategize to take back your time, re-focus on your goals, and achieve your dreams. I truly believe that, while stress isn’t avoidable, we all are not as effective as we’d like to be and I have developed many tools to help.
Are you holding on to old pain or labels from your past that no longer serve you? It’s time to break free and live in the present. In our work, we will explore in-depth self-love and nurture your soul. This is a key component of The SASSY Method™.
